Tips for Improvement
Tips for Improvement. I am compiling a simple list of things that can be done every single day to become better. I encourage you to focus on one or two at a time as you live each day in your life.
You will be amazed at how simply focusing on these simple tips will help make your life better.
- Smile and greet people happily
- Find humor in your mistakes
- Go on a walk for at least five minutes
- Tell someone how good they look today
- Do something unexpectedly nice for someone
- Tell your spouse you appreciate and love them
- Listen to some relaxing music
- Tell yourself how intelligent you are
- Write down how you are doing a little before going to bed
- Go to bed early (by 10 pm) and get good rest
- Eat some vegetables or fruits
- Think on the bright side
- Talk to some good friends or family
- Go to bed on a happy note
- Whistle a happy tune
- Leave work at work
- Don't stress over little stuff
- Enjoy some productive hobbies
- Honk and wave at someone on the road
- Open the door for someone
- Talk and joke with people working cash registers
- Thank someone for what they've done
- Pay for someone's dinner where you are eating
- Share your knowledge with someone
- Set some simple and realistic goals with a plan
- Help clean up litter
- Hold a crying baby
- Play tag with some children
- Give a random stranger five dollars and encourage them
- Tell your parents they are doing a good job
- Write a poem
- Find a good book to read
- Learn something new (outside of your skillset)
- Do the dishes for your spouse
- Clean up your messy area of your house
- Leave a kind note to someone
- Find a puppy and pet it
- Give a kid a high five
- Pay a surprise visit to your parents
- Donate some of your clothes and food to a charitable organization
- Wake up early, relax, and meditate
- Listen to some inspiring and upbeat music
- Say, "I am special" out loud three times during the day
